3M Cartridge Vapor P/n : 6003

Cartridges 3M series 6003 for organic vapor / acid gas can be used for half face and full face masks 3M series 6000 - 7500.

There is sand charcoal on the carbon to absorb organic vapors (i.e. solvents) and certain acid gases.

Examples of substances such as chlorine (bleach), hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, or hydrogen sulfide (escaped only) or hydrogen fluoride.

Since many of these acid gases are quite potentially hazardous, they are ideally suited to be tested to ensure that the cartridge is doing its job.
